SEO for longevity brands is search optimisation for platforms offering biological age testing, epigenetic analysis and healthspan protocols. The category's defining constraint is evidentiary: core claims about biological age measurement and intervention remain scientifically contested, which shapes what content can credibly assert.

01
The demand is in the test, not the category
| Keyword | Volume | Difficulty | CPC |
|---|---|---|---|
| biological age test | 7,600 | 24 | $0.20 |
| longevity clinic | 1,000 | 52 | $1.40 |
| epigenetic test | 200 | 4 | $1.50 |
"biological age test" does 7,600 searches at difficulty 24. "longevity clinic", the term describing what you sell, does 1,000 at difficulty 52. The test outranks the service by a factor of seven and at half the competition.
That asymmetry should determine your architecture. Buyers in this category do not search for a longevity platform. They search for a measurement, form a view about whether it means anything, and only then look for somewhere to get it. Content built around your service offering misses the part of the journey where the decision is made.
"epigenetic test" at difficulty 4 is small but essentially free, and it is the most technically specific query in the set, which usually means the most informed buyer.
02
Your buyer reads the literature, and so does the quality rater
This is an unusual category in that the customer is often scientifically literate and actively skeptical. They have read about epigenetic clocks. They know the methodologies differ. They know test-retest reliability is a live issue.
Content that projects certainty about biological age measurement fails with both audiences it needs to convince. The informed buyer discounts it immediately. The quality evaluator checking against clinical literature reaches the same conclusion.
The content that performs is content that engages honestly with what the measurement does and does not establish: which clock a test uses, what it correlates with, what the reliability data shows, and what changing the number does or does not demonstrate. That is a harder brief than benefit-led copywriting, and it is the only version that ranks in a YMYL category where the underlying science is contested.
03
NAD+ and the intervention content problem
NAD+ appears across longevity, IV therapy and supplement categories, and the claim environment differs in each.
The mechanism is genuinely interesting and the preclinical literature is substantial. The human outcome data is considerably thinner than most marketing implies. Content that moves from mouse studies to human healthspan claims without marking the transition is making an unsupported leap, and it is the most common failure in longevity content generally.
The same applies to most intervention content in this space: rapamycin, metformin off-label, senolytics. Each has real research behind it and none has the human outcome evidence that consumer marketing tends to imply. We write these with the evidentiary state stated explicitly, which reads as more credible, not less.
04
High-value memberships need long-cycle content
Longevity platforms typically sell annual memberships at meaningful price points to customers who research extensively before committing.
That changes the content job. A single high-intent landing page will not close a $5,000 annual membership. What closes it is a body of work the prospect encounters repeatedly over weeks: the test explainer they read first, the protocol content they came back to, the honest piece about what the evidence does not show that made them trust you.
Depth outperforms volume here more clearly than in almost any other category we work in. Fifteen genuinely comprehensive resources will outconvert two hundred short posts.
Here is what happens if nothing changes
01
The test terms are still cheap
Biological age testing at difficulty 24 reflects a category that has not been fought over yet.
02
Your buyer is getting more skeptical, not less
As coverage grows, unsupported claims are increasingly recognised and discounted.
03
Membership decisions take months
The content that closes in November had to exist in August.
04
Paid never becomes an asset
It does not compound and it does not transfer at exit.

What we deploy for longevity brands
AI Search and GEO
Getting cited inside ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews, and an honest account of what that is currently worth.
Doctor-Reviewed Content
Expert writers produce it. A licensed physician signs off on clinical accuracy before it goes live. In YMYL categories that step is not optional.
Digital PR
We connect your business to a credentialed expert and place their commentary in publications with real editorial standards. Their credibility becomes yours.
Link Building
Health publishers vet harder and charge more, which is why most agencies avoid the category and why links remain the largest ranking lever in it.
Technical SEO
Regulated catalogues accumulate structural problems general ecommerce sites never encounter. Most of the fix is consolidation rather than creation.
Programmatic SEO
Location and variant pages at scale, built as data rather than as templates, so they inform rather than duplicate.
